Most two-day courses spend the first morning on logging in and finding the dashboard. We do that before you arrive — in about 45 minutes, in your own browser, at whatever time suits you.
It is a real WordPress, not a video of one. You click the actual buttons. Nothing to install, and nothing that can touch your live site.

- Publish a pageWrite it, lay it out, publish it. Then you've done the whole loop.

We ask one question: what is the one thing about your site you want fixed? Those answers become the agenda for the day. It is the reason a small cohort taught by the person who wrote the material beats a large one taught from a script.

No. The practice WordPress runs inside your browser tab. There is nothing to download, no account to create, and nothing touches your real website.
We check for that at registration rather than on class night, so we usually know weeks ahead. If your browser cannot run it, we switch you to a video version of the same material automatically, and we will have a practice site ready for you on the day.
Come anyway. The day is built so it still works for someone who skipped the pre-flight — the first block recaps the essentials. You will simply get more out of it if you have done the 45 minutes.
Yes, and that is deliberate. In a room of ten, the two least-prepared people set the pace. The pre-flight is what lets day one start where most courses finish.
